We offer quality B&B on the edge of the Peak District in this beautiful part of England. We are in the countryside in the peaceful Moss Valley conservation area, yet only 5 miles from the centres of Sheffield and Chesterfield and 6 miles from the M1. Our home combines 18th century character with modern groundsource underfloor heating, luxury en-suites and many extra touches to help our guests to relax and enjoy this lovely spot. We are at the end of a small lane which turns into a bridleway and footpath.   ROOMS Double room - with luxury en-suite shower, flatscreen TV, tea and coffee tray, fridge, and many other extras. It has its own door onto a large terrace. Twin / annexe suite - self-contained with all the facilities you'd expect from a quality B&B. Guests have use of a sitting/dining room with tourist information, books and a great view.   LOCAL ATTRACTIONS Lovely walks lead straight from the house to beautiful bluebell woods, and there is no shortage of beautiful walks in the surrounding area. Chatsworth house and gardens, Hardwick Hall, Renishaw Hall, Bakewell, Hathersage, and Ladybower reservoirs - are just a few of the places to visit in or nearby the Peak District. There is a Michelin-starred restaurant half a mile away and plenty of local pubs.   DIRECTIONS We are halfway between Sheffield and Chesterfield and 6 miles from the M1, Junctions 30 (from south) or 31 (from north).   RATES B&B is £35 per person per night (single occupancy £39), with reductions available for stays of 3 nights or more. Full English breakfast included – locally sourced and organic where possible.
